A Symphony of Culture and Joy at DPS Rourkela Kindergarten Block

The Kindergarten Block of DPS Rourkela brimmed with festive spirit as Nursery, LKG, and UKG star kids arrived in vibrant costumes, representing Saawan through striking portrayals of deities and monsoon joy. Cultural richness adorned every corner, creating a lively and inclusive atmosphere.

Class 1 celebrated HariyaliTeej in colourful traditional attire with a heartwarmingrakhi-tying ceremony, nurturing the values of love, protection, and unity. Class 2 participated in a creative sand activity, crafting shivlings to foster spiritual awareness. Class 3 enjoyed engaging games thoughtfully organised and conducted by dedicated parents, enriching the session with fun and collaboration.

Under the astute guidance of Principal Ms Manisha Singh, each activity exemplified the National Education Policy’s vision for activity-based and holistic learning. Leadership promoted cultural appreciation and experiential learning, inspiring joy, empathy, and connection among all young learners.
